Different ages, different temps.?

I heard somewhere that adults, juveniles, and hatchlings require different temps. I was under the impression that a hot spot in the 90-94 range and a cool spot in the 78-82 range was acceptable for all ages. Is there any truth to this? Also, what constitutes the age groups, as in a hatchling is hatcling from hatch until....? and an adult is...? Thanks for the help.

The only time that I know of when specific temps and humidity are required for BP's is when eggs are incubating. Once they hatch, they need the 78-92 gradient. There are some snakes that do require different temperature ranges but it is species or locality specific.

As far as age ranges go, it will vary, depending on who you ask. I pretty much go by this:

-Hatchling: 0-3 months
-Juvenile: 3-18 months
-Sub-adult: 18 months-3 years
-Adult: 3+ years
