I know that plenty of people who are anti-hybrid probably don't feel this way, but I feel that burmballs are one of the prettiest snakes ever.

Also, that project is already a few years old, to answer your question.

I just saw that recently. Amazing, huh?
What I don't get, is did they breed a burm to a BP? Or is it just a burm with a BP pattern?
And if they did breed them, it would probably have had to have been a female burm and a male BP, right? Or could a female BP handle a burm hemipene and eggs?
    Sure is pretty

I also think they are beautiful. It's a male BP to a female burm.

    Why are people anti-hybrid?

    Re: Ughhh, WHAT?!?

Nope, not for me. Don't like the hybrid patterns at all. Don't care for the hybrid breeding either. With all of the anti-large python crap going on today, it would be easy for some congress critter to make a point that even ball pythons can get large. Sure, show a burmball on TV and it's 8-12 feet long, and bingo, you've got a ban on ball pythons too.

    Just one man's opinion,
    Jim Smith

Despite what others may say, it would kind of be like a coral reef shark trying to mate with a great white. We dont see it but I'm just positive everyday there is a group of reef shark boys going "come on already...she aint that big....plus she's been given you the eye".....I dare you to go talk to her!
