I think I saw a video on Youtube where a guy's snake had a similar amount of swelling on its' head and it was a rubbing injury the snake caused itself. It got very infected and swelled up to a bigger size quickly, so he gave the snake some antibiotics and it got better.
The swelling, I would think, isn't good if she hasn't had it before.
Could she have injured herself?
