    best yellow belly combo

    well i am getting a free male yellow belly from a friend who's female escaped. so now i need a female for him. what should i breed him to ??? besides another yellow belly. are there any cool yellow belly combos out there? or is my best bet to be making ivories. Thanks Kirk

    Me personally, I would breed it to a lesser, butter, spider, or bee. I barely see any of these combos. You could also breed it to a spector for super-stripes. Or a cinny or black pastel. I've never seen those crosses.

    See? Theres so many endless combinations out there!

    You can keep it simple, for now...Here's a YB Pastel, also het hypo....If she is kept, she'll end up with either a male YB or another YB Pastel, and hopefully make Pastel Ivories....These things look like Super Pastels almost...

    Like Joe said, YB anything is awesome. Other than Superstripes, Super Pastel YB's are sick as are Bellybees

    i like the super stripe. great call, but i cant find any prices on any spector's nevermind any for sale . and ideas??? i have a feeling that its probably not in my buget anyway. Thanks Kirk

    Spectors are pretty up there in terms of price, that is even if you do find one available.

    I would start slow. If I had a YB male and wished to breed him I would get either a Super Pastel or a YB Pastel.

    I think the black pastel yellow belly combo is pretty sweet and a good budget combo.

    I think the Super is the best IMO.. then the superstripe after those too pastel and super pastel Yb's ARE HOTT.
