Just picked up a Granite Spotted Python (Children's python)... Pics!

I just picked up this cool animal at the Tucson show. Most don't know, but I was in EOD (bomb squad) for 8 years and got out to get my college degree, which I just graduted with this may. Here in Tucson, the Davis Montham AFB has an EOD flight, and a good friend of mine runs the flight. They had a Corn snake as a shop pet, but it got out. So I picked them up this Granite Spotted python and a snake aquarium which will elimiate the possibility of escapes (as long as nobody forgets to close the lid). here are the pics:

Ha ha, thanks! My friend asked me if I had a name for him, but I couldn't think of one at the time I thought would stick. But I've been thinking, aI might name him, "Cocked Striker" which is a term used for a triggering method used in many old munitions' fuzing systems. I am going to the EOD shop on base next week to set everything up and show them how to care for him.

My fiance suggested C-4, but thats not really going to work as a name.

Those are great names. I was thinking of the military grade, like RDX, Peten, Tritonal etc... But I like Semtex and Claymore!

Wow, that is a gorgeous snake! I have always loved the Children's python and thought about getting one at one point. Those granites are smoking hot. Awesome mascot to have.

I will be taking "Cocked Striker" (decided on this one since he is always ready to strike when you reach in) to the EOD shop next week. I'll see if I can get some pics of him with the EOD gear, like the EOD 9 helmet or something. I think having "Striker" curled up in the helmet would be cool:

    1.0 Spider BP
    0.1 Bumblebee BP
    1.0 Lesser BP
1.1 Rosy Boa (San Felipe and Mexican Baja)
    0.0.1 Rubber Boa
