    Hatchling tubs

    hey guys!

i have a question with the tub size. I'm trying to figure out what is too small and what is too big. I know alot of people use shoebox sized tubs but how big is that?

    I have a tub that's about 5 gallons. is that too small for a hatchling? it's about 1/2 foot x 1 foot

i would recommend getting clear tubs. my thought is it would might mess with their light cycle if you got the solid color tubs. i could be totally wrong. i have seen people using solid tubs but i prefer the clear.

Dollar General and Family Dollar and Big Lots and Wal-Mart have clear shoe boxes for a dollar or less.
