Exactly. Looks incredibly awesome, however if he produces more then that's even cooler.

Even if it's not genetic it's still cool looking. Worth $2700 not to me but to someone who's got the $$ and wants to take a chance why not.

hmm the adds gone so I cant see the pic, but am I wrong in guessing you all are talking about Garys Awesome little Black Pastel girl?
Fore one thing His Black Pastels are by far the best around. Even if it isn't genetic, it would still be worth every red cent, even at that price. I am curious what her dady looks like.

Genetics aside, that snake looked nothing like a normal I've ever seen. As a matter of fact I've seen many genetically proven morphs that looked closer to "cool" normals then this snake ever would.

Would I pay $2700 for it ? Only if I had it laying around with nothing better to do with it. But that snake is very very cool.

If it retains most of its color AND gets proven, that is a killer snake indeed. Best looking "dark" black BP I've ever seen.

Just in my opinion only, of course

Gary is producing some oddball offspring with his line. Here is a link for more info. http://forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=1861614,1861614

The pictures he posted in this thread look like busy patterned Black Pastels but he told me they don't have clear bellies, something definitely different and interesting.

Oh no doubt..Just for my own peace of mind I'd like to see him hatch out 3 or 4 for them like that before I drop 2700.00 how many times have we all seen crazy stuff pop out of a clutch and gone WTF is that.. Reproduce it on a regular basis and then you've got my attention..that's all I'm saying..

But it looks like those Sable Mojos Jon produce only with a more open pattern..

I like it just not enough to drop 2700.00 on it right now..

So a lot of you seem to be arguing that you would only want it if it could be reproduced? Yet the big breeders will drop the cost of a house on a snake out of Africa that's extremely distinct like this one is, not knowing if it's genetic or not and playing the odds.

This is 2700$ and comes from a black pastel and a spider cross, so could possibly contain either or both trait to begin with, it's extremely unique and could possibly be reproduced. Guess that just shows the difference between individuals who are willing to take a risk and those who arent. Believe me, if I had 2700$ I'd drop it instantly for that snake, accept the risk and at least add something cool to my collection.
