Er, you know...the people who are doing it for the money...choose the best options to maximize the amount of money they can make...because doing otherwise would be dim.
If you want to produce cool looking animals, then get whatever you love to look at.
If you want to make money, then get primarily recessive gene animals that sell high, and do lots of research first.
If you want to do both, you're probably best off, and should take both factors into consideration.

I know that the initial point of this thread seemed like me asking how to get rich quick breeding snakes, this was never intended, but I have also re-thought my decision to seek morphs with higher retail values for the sake of the money. So if we could kindly redirect this thread to talk about sweet looking morphs that can be produced from lessers that would just be fantastic.

Re: Valuable lesser combo's?
For some nice-looking combo's in the future, and relatively affordable females now, I'd look at getting a female Mojave and a female Bumblebee. Your first season of breeding could produce quite a nice variety with those pairings.

Well, I think the woma-lessers I produced look pretty awesome. They aren't quite as light as lesser-spiders, but I plan to introduce some pastel this year or next, and try and hit the triple gene combo. I think a woma-lesser-pastel should be something to write home about. (Maybe I'll call it a Pretender or something if no one else has named it--'cause it is not a queen bee, get it?
Lesser brings a rich cream color when combined with morphs that are already lighter. The cream and tan colors can make a striking morph like woma or spider simply breathtaking.
I haven't really heard of anything so far that it doesn't combine well with.

I hear you on that one. It is so hard to decide on what I want to get. I wish I could have it all. What will probably end up happening is me getting a pastel het. for something and a Mojave, that way I have a wider variety choices/chances with offspring, and (hopefully) sweet combos to make out of any holdbacks.

I'm going to resurrect this thread with a question instead of making a new one
Pastel mojave/lesser mojave (one of the two) X Lesser will give you (possibly):
Mojaves (if used)
BEL
Lessers
Pastels?
lesser/mojave pastel?
Is this correct? Am I missing any? What would the percentages be for each?
