One of our friends bought one. We drove to their house for the weekend and he was glued to it the entire weekend.

I'm assuming it's a good phone, he's a tech junkie.

i got the Droid Incredible by HTC which is pretty much just a smaller version of the X same camera same programs same operating speed only differences are mine has a high resolution LED screen and the X has a HDMI out port which i didnt need so i went with the Incredible and i love it

Is the Droid X an HTC? I thought it was Motorola for some reason. I wouldn't trade my Incredible for anything else Verizon has right now.

no Droid X is Motorolla and i couldnt agree with u more i wouldnt trade my Incredible either

The X was just too big for me. I can carry the Incredible in my pocket, can't do that with the X.

Same for me exactly. I looked at the Droid X and the Incredible. At the time, the only thing that I would have bought the X for over the Incredible was the ability to record 720p video. But then I heard that the Incredible was getting that with the 2.2 update, so that made my decision. The X was just a little too big for my liking and the Incredible has all the same features as the X with the exception of the HDMI port. But I can copy the video files from the Incredible to my laptop with an HDMI out and play them on my TV through my laptop...

I've had my Droid X for over a month and its GREAT!! I had a Blackberry Storm and this thing blows it away! There are a few things I miss on the BB like BB Messenger and the calendar with the alarm (the droid might have that setting just haven't figured it out yet).
