Normally the tails will get a tiny bit more vibrant after each shed when they are babies, but will then dull out.

My girl came to me with a nice red tail, after two or three sheds her tail was a light red (gorgeous) and now it's turning a dark red and that's how it will stay most likely.

You should notice your red tail getting more "pink" on her sides though, it's absolutely gorgeous
