    Best Axanthic Line???

I have decided to start looking into a couple ressesives to add to my growing collection. I have a few in mind, but I think the first 2 will be pied and Axanthic (both of which i really love), Im my looking around I found that there are at least a few (3+) distinct lines of axan. I have read of some browning out in some of these lines and that there is even a line with visual hets. My question is which line is the "best" IMHO that would means they stay "black and white" like a old movie no real color at all, I am a little color blind and it would be nice to own a snake that I see that same as everyone else

What I hear is the VPI line axanthic. And that is what I agree with but to each is own.

Deserved or not, VPI's line has the reputation for being the best. When it comes to sell your offspring the VPI stuff will be worth more and be easier to sell.

I also find the VPI lines tend to keep that high contrast longer than others.

I have a VPI male at about 400 grams and he is still holding VERY well.

I too believe the VPI line to be the best. They tend to not "brown" out as much as adults so I hear. Here is a male vpi axanthic that I hatched out this yr.

nice little guy. I to am leaning toward VPI also and I know of a couple people around that would have them, I guess I could get a Red also, but I dont know that I have seen a adult Red yet. Hatching beautiful looking babies is one thing but I would like great looking adults Of course the visual (black back i think) Hets of the reds may make them a better in some respects as I get into differant projects with them??
