i have a young male retic im just wondering how big male retics get i know i read they get about 14 plus range but i never see pics of full grown male retics and what are you guys feeding your full grown retics. im not worried about size cause i got two rooms just dedicated to snakes i actully cant wait till he gets big i was just wondering thanks.

I think the average range is about 10-20. I'm not 100% on that..

A lot depends on what and how often you feed it. 10-15ft is more likely. 20ft may be possible but not too common for a male. I try to keep adult males on a couple jumbo rats a week. Unlike adult breeding females that I feed rabbits to put more weight on them between breeding seasons.

Like they say try to keep food items the size of the girth of your snake every 10 days or so. They will be pretty happy and have a healthy weight without making them fat.

Back when I used to keep big snakes, I had an adult male retic that measured 18ft in length. He was fed a med rabbit about every 10 days.

It depends on soo many variables...Genetics, feeding, etc...What type of male do you have?

im not sure what localtiy he is but he was just sold to me as a normal he kinda has a granite looking pattern on his neck im feeding him a small rat ever 7 days but i got tons of bigger rats just to make sure i dont get caught off gaurd when he grows quik. he is a little over 3ft . And one more thing i got him in a 4ft long what estimate do you think he would be at a year old im just wondering dont worry i have done plent of research but i like to hear from people who have them and not just just care sheets. and if you have pics of male reics that would be awsome thanks in advance.

Just joined this forum lol, But here is my male retic he is 17-18 feet about 140-150 lbs. compared to a lighter he is Around 3-4 years old. I have a female thats quiet a bit larger but allot older.
