    Percentages ?

SO im wondering if a 66% het x visual (will still get me a) = combo visual.
Dont know much about these kind of pairings. Did you guys have success doing 66% hets to a visual? If so please share info.
    thanks

There's a chance of it. The 66% means that there's a 66% chance of the animal being a het for that trait. So it may or may not carry the gene you're looking for, which is why they sell for less than a 100% het. It's kind of like playing the lottery...

    Re: Percentages ?

66% has nothing to do with its offspring.

a 66% means it has a 66% of being het, they are eigher het or not, no inbetween.

you get the 66% from breeding a het to a het. the break down turns into 25% visual, 50% het, 25% normal. but you cannot tell the difference between the hets and normals so out of the normal looking ones 66% should be het.

so to answer your question, your animal has a 66% of being het, if it is het, 50% visual, 50% het, if it is not a het, you will get all hets.
