    Yes, thermostats will turn the heater on/off to maintain a set temperature. Some pet stores carry thermostats, however, they usually have a high retail mark-up. Thermostats come in a variety of styles and prices, depending on what features you want and how much you want to spend. The basic thermostats start around $30.
