    Cobras on the loose!

I haven't posted in a while, but when I saw this article, I had to check here to see what you all had to say about it, and I couldn't find it posted yet. So here it is!

    http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/as...scaped.cobras/

Venomous snakes on the loose are never good news for our hobby, but I was really pleased at the neutral way this article was written. No sensationalist nonsense about how the villagers are lucky they haven't all been hunted down and killed or other similar garbage.

wow, the government gave him a break because its expensive to raise his illegal cobras. they should have hammered that guy. if the cobras were extremely endangered then i could understand. at least it was china and not on this side of the globe

In china if something goes wrong it is only at an illegal facility for the sake of the news. its a cynical view but might be why the guy wasn't fined.
