I hate to tell you this but if your price range is $300 you will need to lower your expectation and find a morph that fit your budget, no one will sell you those morphs at that price to accommodate your budget

But I know what you mean. I think you're best bet would be to go to a reptile expo. Some vendors at those are selling amel and snow corns for super cheap (8-12 bucks), so I can imagine you'll be able to find BPs for cheap if you look hard. You would also be able to examine the snakes in person, which is an amazing thing to be able to do. A well tempered snake may be completely different to you than to the person you're buying from.
Thankfully - prices of the morphs are starting to trend back up. Albinos at shows last year were about $300 - now they're $400 and up, which is a great thing - people are spending money again, and demand is starting to get larger than demand again.

Was at a show last weekend, and thankfully there were no vendors that were slashing their prices, all were holding their prices to the animals' true value.

Pastel x Spider is what makes a Bumblebee -Either they are messing with you or your getting a Bee.
Why not just invest in a nice morph? You can almost always find breeders who will take payments over a period of time.

300 is my budget for the snake alone, thats not including the initial price of getting everything i need like cage, set-up ect. Idk like i said i really wasnt expecting to see them in the 1000s. truthfully im perfectly happy with getting a normal one i was just seeing what i can get with the budget i have laid out for me. Ty everyone for all the replys im going with the spider and hopfully by december ill have her, XD i cant wait, wish i was getting her today.

Good luck on your future new bp. Seriously, if you really want a specific morph you may not be too happy with a normal or other morph. I never thought I'd get a bp, but a few yrs. back I saw my first piebald bp & was in "instant love". Last month my baby pied girl arrived. She was well worth the wait to get what I really wanted & could finally afford. She is from Garrick DeMeyer of Royal Constrictors Designs & like an earlier post said he does have great snakes. He indeed does allow payment plans. I just put a deposit on a pied male from another breeder to pair with my girl. They will be able to mature & hopefully have pied babies in a few yrs.
Anything you want in life is possible, sometimes you just have to be a little patient & wait a little longer than expected to get to that point.

Your pet store either doesn't know what they are talking about or you are getting hosed. A "Spider-Pastel" IS a Bumble Bee. I highly doubt this pet store is selling Bumble Bees for $175. You will most likely get a spider or a pastel for that price. Please don't take my post as a flame or attack. I just don't want to see you get hosed.

If they have Bee's for $175, find out if they ship!

I can't touch a bee for under $500 here. Now, if they try and tell you it's a Spider het Pastel, or vise versa, tell them thanks but no thanks, there is no such thing.
