I just got a 500R, and they only had one in stock... I have two 20L each with exact setup. (same bedding, hides, positioning,etc.) I ran digital thermometers on each one at same time, with the probes in same spot I plan to use the thermostat, and they have same temperature... they are each the same exact distance from the A/C vent and window... so it would be ok logically for me to use one thermostat for both tanks?

Not trying to be picky, just waiting for them to restock... which will be monday. but if I can save $45 bux i wont argue
