Do these guys burrow as much as the sand boas do? I'm just wondering bc for the burrowers I measure the temps on the glass. I'm not sure if I should measure on the surface for this guy though. He's sharing a thermostat with my sand boa right now and of course they are reading about 7 degrees different from each otherI guess he'll need his own thermostat now. He's also just sitting out in the enclosure, not in the hide. Is this normal for them? Thanks!

I keep her probe beneath the aspen...as close to the glass as I can, since she does burrow from time to time. I like to keep a rather thick layer of the aspen in there for that reason....because she really seems to enjoy making herself all kinds of tunnels and whatnot. It's really quite cute. Anyway, best of luck for your little Rosy.
