The little dirt eater is doing much better now. I have not witnessed him eat yet, but the others have.

Sorry I have not gotten pictures yet. They all have photogenic qualities, being that they will just freeze. One is a jumper, Winkin will jump from hand to hand and hand to shoulder, face, etc.

We named them Winkin, Blinkin and Nod. Pics should come tomorrow.

    Thanks for the advice everyone!

Re: Picked up 3 cresteds and have a ?

Are you using the "Rapashy Crested Gecko Diet"? this is the best food available and is very reasonably priced as well, it has all their d3 calcium needs as well as vitamins all in the mix already, it is the only food I would reccomend, nothing else will work as well or be as healthy for the cresties, if they were eating baby food with the pet store than they may turn their noses up at first at the rapashys, try dabbin a bit on their nose so they realise they should eat it, maybe try that with the little guy if he hasnt eaten in front of you yet. And when I feed the occasional cricket to my cresteds I just hold it up to em and they eat out of my hands, it makes them more relaxed about your hands reaching into their cage and its good fun watching them lunge at your fingertips to get the crickets! My geckos that are in tubs all use paper towels substrate, just cause if they sit on the floor and lick all over they will get the loose substrates in their mouth, in bigger cages i dont think its a big deal to use loose substrates because they spend almost zero time on the ground, however in tubs I have noticed they sometimes spend the day sleeping down on the bottom...

Thanks for the advice! I am using the GCD, they like it quite a bit. I give them a full 2oz and they will eat it all. I also give them the occasional roach and mealworm.

I sill have them on the loose substrate but I will be swapping it out soon.
