i like both surf and skate longboarding. however, at the spots i used to surf short board at, we hated longboarders! but we all rode them when the waves sucked....kinda a double standared.
Longboarding is a great relaxing form of surfing...It can get very intense in big waves but soooooo much fun in small waves...Love surfing long or short!!!!! Enjoy the ride and the addiction...

Phew, no, I haven't tried it--I did stand on one of them while inside and nearly fell over. Those things are tricky.
My brother uses one to get to work every day, and he's so good at it he can text while longboarding down hills. XD He's crazy! haha

kinda missed the boat on that one!! i have 2 longboard skateboards both with double king pins. they are killer fun!! one doesn't have a kick tail and is a pin tail and short.....kinda tricky but super fun!!
ive been longboarding for about a year now! i love it! the freedom the speed that gets you to places and you don't need to practice every day to be good
