My big boy

So about a year ago i got this boa from a certain Patrick Long... and he was a bit of a mean..(i.e bit my bf every chance he got...) and now hes the biggest sweetie ever (i.e has never bit me even when i handle him when hes shedding or after I smelled of mice...) I think that hes the best snake that we have and that we've ever had.

we took him out tonight and I was amazed at just how big he was....

this is when we first got him- I know in the pic its hard to tell how big (or small) he is- but its the first pic i have of him -




and tonight-





for some reason i thought these guys stayed really small ( like no more then 4.5-5 ft.) but this guy is deff at least 5 ft and maybe a little longer ( hes hard to measure since he won't stay still and deff won't straighten out...

He's gorgeous! Hogg males can get up to at least 6 ft from what I've seen, females get a big larger.

He's fantastic! Love his coloring. Wow, on the size! Like you, I thought Hoggs stayed more on the smaller side for Boas.
