What might be a silly question in regards to an adult ball/feeding...

We have an adult male who seems to not be growing anymore... ever since we got him 3 years ago, he's kept a regular 2 week feeding schedule, aside from during the winter time when he goes off-feed for a couple months. For the last three months, he's really only been interested in eating once a month. He doesn't seem afraid of his food, just disinterested. Is this normal for a fully grown adult ball?

As long as he is eating than I would not worry about! Males in my experience usually don't eat that much when they are adults. Females eat well as adults because they use alot of energy in producing eggs! I have a male that ate every 5 days until he reached 800 grams, went off feed for 3 months and now only eats once a month!

just get a scale and weigh him, if hes not losing a lot of weight then dont worry. he's prolly done with any growth spurts and doesnt need the food as often. if he starts to lose weight or looks unhealthy then a vet wouldnt be a bad idea

Oh good, I'm so glad to hear that from everyone. He hasn't lost any weight at all. Still the same girth as usual. He's the first ball we adopted(we have two now) and he is the oldest, so the whole adult thing is a new thing to us.

Id's about 4 feet long and he's eating medium rats.

You may want to go down to a small rat if you want him to eat more often but I wouldn't worry about it!

AGREE, adult males unless they are huge only need small rats IMO
Feeding larger might make him want to wait longer in between meals.
