Re: Butter vs lesser
It is always a big argument, and there have been many threads about this, just do a search then you will be able to see most of the different opinions on here..
I say yes, they are two different morphs, although they seem to have a huge similarity to them, even when combined with other morphs to make combo's..
The best example for me is to look at a Butterbee(ButterxSpider) and a Lesser Bee(LesserxSpider) , now for me that is all the proof I need..
Hope this helps!

Re: Butter vs lesser
Personally I believe they are the same thing. They look the same and produce the same stuff. There are variations just like any other morph. Do a google image search for Lesserbee and then Butterbee. They both show wide variations of busy patterns to very clean reduced patterns. Lesser vs Butter shows the same thing. It's also known that Lesser to Lesser has a chance of producing BEL's with bugeyes. So does Butter to Lesser.
So what would make them different?
Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
Always sitting by your side,
Always by your side...
That cat's something I can't explain...

I am in the "they're the same morph" camp. Their variability is no different than pastels.

Re: Butter vs lesser
I would say same morph. I feel they are more like different lines just like Pastels. They can each throw different grade animals. They both make Plattys... or Butter/Platty Daddy. I have had light Lessers, dark Lessers, light Butters, dark Butters and everything in between. Just look at how variable Mojave balls are. I believe most would agree that they are the same snake just different lines.

Wait I have never heard of a blue eyed Lucy being produced by lesser x butter?
If this is true wouldn't Somone have posted about it by now?
