just mojo variation?

The lighter of the two here is my newest addition. She just shed and looks like an entirely different snake than the one I brought home. So much so that I pulled my male mojave for a quick comparison. Is this just simple variation between mojaves or is there something else going on?

I would say it's just a variation among the morphs, since Mojaves do vary quite a bit... but did you notice how the girl's coloring gets lighter on the bottom half? Almost makes me wonder if she lost a bit of pigment in the last shed? They're both very pretty, regardless!

Yeah, she seems to get lighter towards her back end. I've never seen coloration quite like hers. The heads seem so different, too. I'm happy to have her but she looks so different now than when I bought her. She was apparently just starting a shed cycle when I got her and now that she's shed, it's like a completely different animal in there.

Re: just mojo variation?
nice lookin mojos, nice to see the variation of color that comes across in that particular morph.... I love the coloring of both, the darker makes me thnk of maybe a chocolate pin mojave cross, or pewter mojo... the lighter would be hot with a firefly cross, or desert spider... ohh yeah awesome pair you gots there
