I got the best looking normal on the planet.
He is yellow! No, he's not a pastel, I don't think. His head is not as light colored as a pastel and his eyes are not as green as a pastel's. Man, he is super pretty! Unfortunately, he is not eating. Sigh. I truly pray he'll make it. He was born at 47 grams and just shed for the first time a few days ago... 3 weeks after he left the shell. Assist feeding didn't go too well.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Re: I got the best looking normal on the planet.
very pretty little boy
You'll want to assist feed him again. I lost a baby because I waited too long.. I still feel terrible. I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone.
My mistake with assist feeding was not pushing the rodent far enough in, you'll get it to a point in their mouths that they won't spit it out. It took me too long to figure that out... Sorry to add sadness to your thread.

That is a very nice looking normal! Did you hatch it out or did you get it from someone?
I hope it gets a meal in it soon!

I hatched it from my spider and pastel. Thanks! It's so funny because I'm so excited to finally have a normal. And the prettiest one ever too!

nice!
are there anymore hatchlings from that clutch?

Is this pic pre-shed or post-shed? It looks like if its post-shed that maybe he has retained his eye caps. Could be why its not eating.

Post-shed, and no, it doesn't have retained eyecaps. Probably just my complete lack of skill in photography.
