    Question Planted Terrarium Question

So I have a question about maintaining a planted terrarium...

How do you clean it? I know to wipe down the sides, the glass and the decorations and all that. But what about the substrate? I was planning on keeping a cypress mulch substrate with a solid covering of frog moss. Would I have to dig up the moss every few weeks to change the substrate? Or could I just wipe off the moss whenever it is soiled?

    Thanks in advance!

I just use good soil and mix all the nasty poo and stuff in so it biodegrades. You can also get some earth worms or pill bugs and put them in the soil since they are natural cleaners.

I have one planted tank (right now) and I made a mix of eco earth, cypress mulch and spagnum moss to use as substrate. To clean it I just mix it up every so often. If you are using the frog moss feces will get deposited on top of it and not so much in the soil/other bedding so I guess you could just wipe it off.
