Still Going.....90+F and dryer than dust!
We dont need the humidity out here in Cali for some good locks.
Both shed out last night, and thought a good lock was in order!

Could be a very merry new year for some special boy and his invisible girlfriend.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Neato! I'm in California too (but in the much colder Bay Area), and was thinking about letting Nerissa have her way with a boy or two... but does that mean you won't see eggs until next spring? Or do they sometimes ovulate & lay in fall? I know it's said you can breed year-round, but it seems the majority of eggs are still laid in spring-summer.

P.S. I wonder if my snakes even know what season it is, since our temperature is the same ALL YEAR! Mona laid her clutch right on schedule (June 22), but that was my only clutch thus far... so I don't have a "control group" to go by yet.

Balls have no concept of season, just if it gets cool and if it starts to warm up.

Obviously that's what I meant, LOL... I know they don't have a conscious knowledge of "seasons," but I was wondering if mine are confused without a cool-down or warm-up period here. Does that make sense?
