cobras actually fallow the motion of the flute not cause it has a eye painted on it if that was the case there would be a few people who would of gotten sprayed when they used a spitting cobra

Funny thing, no one wants to come to my house, they envision all my snakes & tarantulas run freely throughout my home waiting for the unsuspecting visitor to stop by so they have something to eat again. I've even had some ask me if I feed them small children & dogs & cats? Heaven forbid when I tell them where I keep my frozen mice & rats. Go figure!!

works to keep the dummies away thank god my ex is one of them i got my collection set up so once any of the 3 entry doors will let them see a snake you'd be surprised who does an about face once they spot a 9 foot Burmese even if it is in a locked cage.

did have one of those bible pushers ask if he could hold the Burmese after knocking on the door one day.

Re: Craziest snake myth you have ever heard??

I took my big girl ball out for a stroll a few days ago. We stopped at our favorite pet store, and some guy (customer) asked me if I was buying rabbits to feed my snake. Mind you, when I say big girl she's only about 52" long and 2000 g's. I just looked at him.... look at the rabbits....my snake....and back at him. I just didn't know what to say. I kind of chuckled a little and said, "no, this is BALL python. The biggest thing she will ever be able to eat are med size rats."

He totally looked at me like I was crazy, and asked if I was sure. Apparently, Medusa is starving from lack of bunnies. Lol. Ignorance should be the 8th deadly sin.

Don't think anyone posted this one yet, I didn't look through the whole thing though..

I thought this one was a bit off,

Actually, most of the cobras used in that dancing "activity" are spitting cobras, but sadly their mouths are sewn shut so they can not spit, and sadly eventually die of starvation and dehydration. However, it is true that eyes are painted on the flute so they "dance" to follow the eyes.

P.S. I only know this because I went to Cancun, Mexico for vacation and went into a non-tourist town and it was being done. It's a really sad thing to watch, or even see in person.

I took my ball to pick up pizza one day and he is like 24" but people acted like he was a 10 foot python and intentionally skirted around me and my girlfriend by like 5 feet it was quite funny.

-a corn snake can eat crickets it's whole life

-any snake can reach 30+ feet

-you have to get a priest to remove evil spirits from a snake before owning it as a pet

-owning a snake means other snakes will start to break into your house because they try to follow each other's scent

-a snake only has to reach three feet to be big enough to eat you

-if you cut off the head of a snake, the head and body both live, and will grow into two separate snakes. (did...did he think snakes were worms? I can't even... He was serious...wow)
