    Guess the bug?

This is on my deck...what the heck is it? Sorry for the bad pics. It looks like a bright lemon yellow bloated tick, but I know that isn't what it is. Any ideas?

My guess is a yellow crab spider who has been through war and lost some of his legs. The poor thing! They usually have their 2 front legs much bigger than all the others which they use to grab prey. They seem to be missing in this picture.

They don't weave webs to catch prey - they ambush!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Thanks, that is what it is. I had no idea what to google because of the lack of legs. It's pretty neat looking, I've not seen one before.

I saw a bright green one just like it at work the other day. Strangely enough, it was also missing one of it's front legs.
