    That's a fine size for an 08 female. Mine are actually a little smaller: they were all picky eaters this winter, and now my oldest one won't switch from mice to rats.

    She definitely will get bigger, though, and I wouldn't breed her at her current size and age. Do you want to breed her? It's hard to say if she'll make it up to 1500g this season. If you're right about the size of her meals, and she keeps eating, she'll be 1500g easy by November. But sometimes ball pythons go off feed for a month or two when you buy them and bring them home, just because they're stressed by the change in environment.

    But if you just keep feeding her and let her grow another year, you'll have a nice 2000g monster by next fall. No problem.
