I think you're wrong about that Bill, The egg shells are pretty impermiable protect the embryo pretty well and won't soak up the poisons, the only things that I've heard of that will kill the eggs is steam or boiling water which basically just cooks them in their shell. However, if you've got poisons down that are long lasting, they'll kill the mite when it hatches. (which is why PAM is so effective, it sticks to surfaces and lasts a long long time.)
