New Dumerils from Daytona
This is our baby Dumerils my son got at Daytona Sunday. We think she is very nice, but then again we're probably a little biased .

We have experience with balls and boas, but aren't too familiar with Dumerils. Anything in particular we should know about them?

That's a really nice Dumeril's! Digging the orange. I've got one and they are pretty easy to take care of. Just look up a care sheet. I really like the temperament of these animals in general and are one of the most beautiful snakes there are. Congrats.

Nice pickup. I just got one last night from a guy who didn't want it any more. She's a great snake already and has a great temperament.
I love the orange in yours!

Their husbandry and care requirements are about the same as a BP as far as temps and humidity goes. They do good on aspen because they will sometimes burrow and they pee alot, so make sure you check inside the hides every 1-2 days for urates. Another reason aspen is good because of the frequent spot cleanings. You can feed about every 10 days. Also you should use a little larger water bowl because they will occasionally soak themselves. Here is a website with some basic care info...
