    quick question

I started putting my ball pythons together 2 weeks ago for 1-2 days at a time with a 5-7 day break in-between. I've gotten what look to be good locks from both pairs but now my females are in blue and I'm unsure as to whether I should keep pairing them or wait out the shed cycle. Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    John

Ohh, it worked that time.. I did a real long thread introducing myself and trying to post pics before the one above but it got denied so I was keeping it short and simple.

    A quick recap:
I hail from north Florida where I've lived my whole life of 28 years, all of which have been in the company of reptiles and amphibians. My passion was passed down from my father who always had snakes and lizards in the house and this is my first year attempting to breed purposefully(we've had anoles, swifts, and skinks reproduce in naturalistic vivaria in the past).

I'll try posting the pics again from photobucket. The spider x pastel were going at it like crazy and I witnessed what looked like decent locks:

The fire x fire didn't seem as enthusiastic and even though I didn't catch any good locks on the camera I saw a couple that looked solid but was scared to disturb them. This is the closest I got to a picture of one of their locks:

That is completely up to you! The pastel/spider pairing has a real nice lock!

    Re: quick question

Just keep pairing until its clear to you (you will def. know) that they are not interested in eachother anymore. I kept pairing until my girl shed. That was my okay to take my ghost male out.
