Question Anything Look Interesting About this Little Guy?

This is Jesus, a 'rescue' from a local pet store that let him get extremely emmaciated & dehydrated... I'm sure he is just a normal but I was hoping a few of you would give me your opinion if anything about his pattern/color looks of interest? He just looks a little different to me than other normals... To me, he has some "flame" blushing, reduced looking pattern, lighter colored head, and no gold like our adult female normal. I know nothing about what to look for though so any input is greatly appreciated! Sorry this isn't the best pic... if anyone does see something of possible interest I will get better pics of whatever would be most helpful. TIA!

He looks like a beautiful normal.

I do see some nice blushing on his sides.

Ha! Guess I'm lucky my hubby talks to our animals too...especially our Mojave, Javier (daddy's boy) & our Pug, Twink (daddy's girl) He did think I'd lost it last night when I gave Jesus a lil kiss before I put him back in his tub though
& thanks so much! I kept going in Petco because they had a high yellow BP that had caught my eye, but once I saw how bad off Jesus was I started asking about him. They gave me thr run-around & 2 million different stories about him over a 2 week period before I finally had enough & bought him... *so* glad I did. He definitely has the best personality out of all our snakes (momma's boy lol)

Did you put this snake in quarantine? He could have something else rather than just being super thin so I would be careful. I don't support any big chain pet stores by "rescuing" animals because it will just lead them to buy more and treat them just as bad. The last "rescue" ball python hatchling I got died of IBD a month later. So I would just be careful.

I agree completely which is why I didn't purchase him the first day I saw him. I struggled with it for 2 weeks because I didn't want to be funding their cruelty & neglect of animals. After those 2 weeks though I just couldn't take it anymore & ended up buying him. Several things have happened since then that have led *me* to believe I did the right thing though.
He is in quarentine though, well away from all our other snakes, and will stay there for awhile & definitely until we take him to the vet for a thorough check-up.

Thanks so much! This pic was after having him for 2 weeks & you wouldn't believe how much better/fatter he looks in that compared to when I bought him. He could barely hold his head/neck up long enough to swallow a pinky mouse! He's eating F/T small mice now & we're going to try him on a F/T rat pup this weekend. He's got a ways to go but has already come so far too...
