    How old? Baby snakes will not be "tamed" until they get bigger, I find usually around 200 grams you can start to notice them being more relaxed.

    Babies do not feel as safe in their ball (curled up) as a muscled adult would, so they strike out to scare you off. Keep feeding, and as long as he eats, hold him once a week for 5-10 minutes. It will take time, certainly more than a month or two.
