    I agree...just be sure next time to make sure it's about the same size. If it's a lot bigger than the snake, they could not only throw it up, but could end up with broken ribs and you don't want that...

    OK - I had to come and look for this post, because the OP then passed on this information as advice to someone else.

    Where did you get your information about the broken ribs? I've personally never experienced, and until your post, I've never, ever heard anyone claim that their animal got broken ribs from food that was too large.

    This is to everyone who is relatively new to keeping these wonderful animals - please, please, please don't regurgitate information that someone else has given you. Independently verify that the information is correct. And if you want to share what someone else has told you, but that you haven't personally experienced yourself - it's probably best to preface it with "While I don't have personal experience with this - I've been told that..........", rather than stating that piece of information as fact.

    We LOVE that everyone is here trying to help each other, but we really need to make sure we're sharing ACCURATE information, not anecdotal information.
