Stay in the Incubator or take them out.

So i have my little hatchlings still in the incubator after they all came out of their eggs. I was figuring I was going to keep them in their deli cup and take them out here and there and keep them in the incubator until they shed. So should I keep to my original plan or take them out?

They have been in the incubator just under a week.

They're probably okay to stay there until you feed them, but then they should be able to thermoregulate on their own in a cage with a warm and cool side.

Is there any reason why you want to keep them in the incubator, though?

Ah. I usually place them in their own cage when they are all out of their eggs.

Some leave in together in the incubator until their first shed, then put them in their individual tubs

I take them out once they are out of the egg, and put them in their own 6 quart tub. Good luck.

I leave them in until they all shed and then set them up.

My routine is when they are all out of egg I sex them and keep them in two separate tubs for boys and girls and then after they shed I put them in individual hatchling tubs and get them eating.

That's what I like to do, too. AZ air is dry, I don't have to worry about the humidity if I leave them in the incubator to shed.
