    Where To Get A Retic

Well, I'm looking to get my first reticulated python, and I'm wondering if you guys have any good suggestions to breeders?

I'm located in Oklahoma and if I can do it locally thats a huge plus (yes, I know about Bob Clark), but I'm not opposed to getting one shipped in.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Where To Get A Retic

You could check out the retic ranch. I know there is also prehistoric pets but Ive only heard bad things about them. But deffinetly check out fauna and kingsnake. Sometimes there are hobbyists or small breeders in your area that you never knew about and sometimes you can get pretty good deals.

But goodluck with hunting and then goodluck with your giant. Have you ever had a giant before?

ive gotten two retics from prehistoric pets, but only because they are local to me and i know a few of the people there and get good deals, and i got one from bob clark. Stick with ay of the larger breeders and you shuld be okay

Re: Where To Get A Retic

please god tell me you have experience with large constrictors....
im talking large constrictors... not like a boa...

im a big guy, and have some giant experience under my belt...
and i know my limits... you look pretty darn tiny....and with little to no large snake experience... you'll be in for a brutal awakening.

Re: Where To Get A Retic

Lots of experiance, my ex breeds retics =).
And I'm a firm beliver in the over 7 feet, don't touch it alone rule.

I'm not fond of Prehistoric Pets, I've heard not so good things about them and they seem rather expensive.

I'll check out the Retic Ranch and I've been scowering Kingsnake, I"ll check out Fauna too.

    Thanks =)

Re: Where To Get A Retic

Oh and thanks for your concern, definitely understandable. I'm looking for a female so she'll be BIG, ok big is an understatement, she'll be huge.

    Thanks, I'll take a look.

Seems like The Retic Ranch no longer has a website? =(
