Paper Towels
Hello. I'm thinking of changing to Paper Towels for my ball python and bearded dragon tanks. Would this be a good idea, would they enjoy roaming the cage just as much on paper towel?

Re: Paper Towels
I mean if you are talking as opposed to aspen then it wont b or lok the same but i dont think ur BP would care, same for your beardies. Mine go from being quarentined in a tank with aspen to my rack in tubs on newspaper. I'm pretty sure they are fine with it.

Re: Paper Towels
I honestly don't think they mind, and it's a lot safer compared to loose substrate when you consider feeding in the enclosure.

Re: Paper Towels
My Pastel is always burring himself in his Aspen bedding! I think he would be very mad if I took that away.

I've actually been swapping substrates seasonally lately and it seems to be working well for me, I'm usuing aspen in the winter when the air is dry because it holds moisture better, then in the spring I switch to newspaper because it's cleaner. (I might also be developing an allergy to wood dust, I need to use a resperator now when cleaning out tubs filled with aspen or I can't stop coughing)

When they want to, they will get under the paper towels and newspapers too...
