price of Lavender Albinos in 2-3 years ?

i am thinking of picking up a pair of HET lavender albinos. i can get the het pair for a little under a thousand dollars.

my only concern is that in 2-3 years the price will dramaticlly drop.

would it be cheaper to wait 2-3 years and just pick up a visible Lavender?

In 2-3 years can you see them selling for $1500 ?

i know theres no way of telling what they will be worth in the future.

dose anyone that has been around for awhile have an estimate of what they will be worth in 2-3 years ?

Honestly if that's your concern drop the coin on a pair of LA's and don't worry about the price..

I think the het female is still worth it--in two-three years, she'll be ready to MAKE lavender albinos, and even a brand-new lavender albino boy will need to do some growing. And a lavender girl will be several years from maturity.

And in the mean time you can put your het lav male to work with some nice big normals, making pos het females that your future lavender albino can prove out.

... gosh, I'm liking this plan so much I might go grab me a few big normals for my het lav boy.

I dont see the price of lavs dropping down to 1500 in two years. They are still 3000-3500. There isnt really that many available each year. Especially when you can add co-dom genes to them to create even more fun combos, which will add a twist to the lav gene.

price is going to fall. but the female het should be worth alot more than a grand in 3 years as long as she eats.

For hatchlings, I'd guess $750-900 for a male lavender and $1,000-1200 for a female in 3 years.

I think $1500 is a decent guess. What's wrong with that though? You would more than make your initial investment back by selling one snake. Sounds pretty good to me.
