    2010 het red axanthic females?

i just had a clutch of het red axanthics start pipping today so i cut the rest of the eggs. it looks like i have 5 het reds out of 7 eggs. it was a het red male to a normal female.

my question is what is the going rate for het red females?
i see males all the time selling for 75 to 100 bucks each but i never see females. i dont know the ratio yet and wont know until they come out and shed.
im probally going to keep 2 females if i get that many but any extra i planned on selling. i just dont know how much to ask...lol
any fore sight would be appreciated.

I picked up a late 09 290 gram girl recently for $150 at a show. I felt I got a awesome deal. I believe the lowest I seen other that what I got as $250-$300 yet I've only seen a few forsale.

    Nice odds!
I was selling my 2010 female for $250 but ended up selling it to a friend for $200.

Re: 2010 het red axanthic females?

thanks for the responses guys. from what ive found and from what many of my friends have told me 250 - 300 is the average. i know their are the occasional sweet deals out their but that isnt the prices i was looking for. ive seen bumble bee females for 450 shipped but that is by far not the average. i picked up an albino male for 300 shipped last year, so their are deals to be made but i wasnt looking for those prices.

as for the guy that got a 75 doller one....id double check the sex, its probably a male or a unproven ch line.(or you have a generous friend...

It's sad what happened to the het reds. I remember just a few years ago when they were 10k.

Nope, its a girl and the sire was a red axanthic and there on display. Prices at the show were really weird. On one hand, there was the het red I got and someone else had a beautiful female pewter for $350 that sold immediately; but there were other people asking $1500 for an ivory. Like I said, it was a weird show.

Re: 2010 het red axanthic females?

Portland Reptile Expo today had one het red female for $75 and one for $100
    Pretty lil girls too.
Last I saw Pastel het red males for $300 and females for $425
The supply isn't huge but the demand is fairly low so prices have plummeted on them sadly.
