Wow that is terrible. I am a total sucker...so I would demand that I get at least half of my $$ back. But for me...there is NO WAY I could return the snake. That is where the softie ..."I can fix him" part of me comes into play. I would take him to the vet to get some antibiotics and nurse him back. I would also be sure to note what happened on the BOI. That is the first place I would check prior to working with a new breeder.

BG...sit down as this may shock you..coming from me. (sorry)) But I totally disagree with leaving any live animal in with your snakes overnight. I realize that some of you that are bigger breeders may be on a time crunch but to me you can prekill if there is no strike and leave it in the tub on the warm end. That would be the safest alternative.
