    Pastaves...

Does anyone here own a pastave ? I've seen a few pictures and find them very beautiful. Wondering just HOW apparent the difference is to a regular/light colored mojave.

If they all look similar to the pictures I've seen, this is one I would like to add to my collection eventually.

    Thanks
    Zina

I don't own one, but I agree they are very pretty. I guess you can add pastel to almost anything. Thats neat!

I own half a dozen adults with two more pipping as we speak.
The difference between even an ugly pastave and a nice mojave is the difference between night and day.
    Can you tell the difference:

Pastave is a Mojave Pastel. Ergo, the snake needs a Mojave parent and a Pastel parent, and a little luck since Pastaves aren't a guarantee. Or Pastave to normal could yield some...as could a Super Mojave bred to a Pastel, or a Super Pastel bred to a Mojave.

I guess the easiest way to get Pastaves is to bree Super Mojave to Super Pastel. 100% of the offspring WILL be Pastave!!!

    Re: Pastaves...

    Thank you kindly folks.
I will add that to make an amazing pastave, you need to be more selective when choosing the pastel parent than with the mojave parent.
If you have high blush, really bright, clean looking pastel parent, you will produce the most mind-blowing pastaves.
