Today was a bittersweet. i had my 2nd clutch ever hatch. normalXpastel. 2 baby's hatched and the 3rd stuck it's head out. the 4th hadn't pipped so i decided to cut, i could tell immediately even with my limited experience something was very wrong. the sweet part was that all 4 babys are pastels. but sadly this 4th one was surely dead. I removed the egg from the incubator and cut the egg open to remove the snake. from the head to about 1/2 way down the body was INSIDE OUT?!?! ok wow that's weird. as i turned the snake over it MOVED! OMG this poor little thing is still alive. I could see the heart beating out in the open. has anyone ever seen this? and does anyone know what could have caused this?

here are pics of the babys

last chance if you don't want to see photos of the inside out snake

I took a short video showing the heart beating before i euthanized the poor little guy. again, be warned that it is graphic. YouTube - Inside out snake
