    need a lil assistance?

    i bought two fuzzie mice today hoping my ball would eat both of them. she only ate one and now im stuck with a live fuzzie mouse. what is the best way to keep it alive till next friday or should i kill eat and feed it F/T next time?

    Just put it in a ziplock & put in in the freezer til next feeding

    Yes in the freezer, it's too young to effectively use C02 on.

    Uhh, how about this as an alternative.

    Get yourself a ziplock bag, and a can of air (use them to dust keyboards and what not).
    Fill the bag a bit (slowly), squeeze it out, fill again to ensure the environment is 100% CO2.

    Seal it and wait for a while, if you want to be ultra safe, keep it in there for a half an hour.

    They are resistant to hypoxia, but not immune.

    take the lil thing and give it a lil thump on the head and then freeze it!! None of these ways is going to be easy either way you look at it.

    run over it with your car, thump it on the head, shoot it...do whatever.


    But do not freeze the animal alive. That is probably one of the most painful and inhumane ways to die.
