Cause them to go off feed, if either have a health problem it will spread, later they could try to mate (very very bad unless you planned it).
It's just not recommended.
Also, yes, if that is your setup, I second looking at the caresheet. Make sure you have proper temps, hides, humidity.

Yes, but not until the right age and size right?
And even then you can only have them together for short times (three days in, three out).
Right now that female looks no where near size to breed, and if they try, it could cause harm and stress to your animals.

Best to have separate homes.

its a simple setup, and works great for glass tanks.
there are even tub setups, IF you dont mind not having the chance to see them cruising out at night.
