    to the OP: this happened to my snake a long time ago.. i bumped up the humidity by lightly misting the cage and the next day, it was gone. on the thread that I started, someone said they dipped the BPs head in water and it was fixed.. lol... i don't suggest it, but it lets you know your BP is probably dehydrated..

    mist the cage - bump up the humidity - wait.

    keeping the enclosure to humid could lead to a respiratory infection, but when the snake is in shed, the extra humidity would make shedding easier. that's why people suggest to bump the humidity when the snake is in shed.
