That does not look deep enough to be a rat chew, at all.

I think it may even heal with a shed or two.

    Re: WTF! What to do?

looks more like a burn to me, but I'm no expert...sorry dude. I'd almost say just take it simply so you know it WILL get treated. It seems like the other guy is def. doing something VERY wrong....Good luck, and I hope he gets better

It looks like there is more than just the injury going on. The poor thing looks like her body is swollen from just above to just below the injury. I would demand my money back and as much as I would hate to do it, I would return the poor girl.

    Re: WTF! What to do?

    Gosh, looks painful

Without knowing exactly WHAT caused this injury, there is no telling if and how it will heal.

What bothers me a lot is that the seller just has "no idea" how this happened. Yeah right.

Based on that alone, I would demand a refund.

    Poor snake.

    Re: WTF! What to do?

That is from a rat.It will get better after a few sheds, but it will never go away. This will scar the pattern. Also the snake may go off food(fear).Unfortunatly I missed a rat one feeding day and this happened to one of my Het.caramel females. She is back eating and has had numerous sheds, but the scars remain.Should not effect the snakes ability to breed, but he/she wont be a "looker".All the best
