    how many?

    I was just wondering how many AFS's i would need to feed my snakes

    I currently have 6 1.3 groups is this enough or should i start more groups.

    each group is set up in a ten gallon tank

    Ball pythons
    9 adult females
    3 sub adult female
    4 adult males
    5 babies

    asfs take a bit longer to get to size..... i usually will keep a few extra just in case some start slowing down production..... with norway rats the sort of rule of thumb is 1 female rat per ball, asf world id double it and freeze off as many as u can to stock up. my asfs are wierd thou and sometimes they will pump out a ton, then go 2 months with nothing. i donno...

    that should be very close to the correct number of breeding groups for your number of snakes. I would error on the side of caution though and add 2 or 3 more groups.

    You can always freeze or sell or both extras.

    I do 1.2 and average 20 per trio. I just started a 1.3 so I couldn't tell ya what that is gunna produce.

    X2 I have 22 snakes and 8 trios I need to set up 2 more trios to keep up.
    And a bigger grow out tub to keep my guys feed with out buying feeders.
    I have found that 1.2 works better than 1.3.
