    Thumbs down Egg death...

    Total bummer! This clutch started pipping today and I found this in one of the eggs when I cut them. Looks like the yolk formed around his neck...

    He did have an umbilical cord, but it was torn when we took him out of the egg for a better look.

    Not sure, but one person in BLBC believes that the hardened matter was actually egg white, and only began to harden after the snake died in the egg.

    I'm not sure, but he was just a mess tangled up with his yolk and everything, I can't help but believe he was tangled around his neck between the yolk and umbilical cord. His neck was really compressed after I removed the junk.
